Enhancing Trauma-Informed Theatre Education to Support Communities with High ACEs
In 2021-2026, we were hired to do a federal program evaluation for Cleveland Play House with the goal of providing data for continuous quality improvement and evidence of impact.
We did this through finding ways to collect classroom, out-of-school time, and community data that was respectful of the need for privacy when sharing about ACES. This involved designing multiple data reporting tools that could be used by teaching artists working with the students. By the end of the project, we successfully achieved:
Established good data collection and feedback loops.
Provided initial impact data for use in subsequent federal grant applications.
Assisted with additional state-level grant reporting.
